Mrak Hall closed early at 3 PM today (regular closing hour = 5 PM) supposedly to let people go for the holiday. Associate Vice Chancellor Janet Gong reports back with her progress on our demands. Sassy!

Did they leave the building?
put in a group request to ‘continue dialog’ in Mrak lobby monday 10 to 1?
run over to the UC for the future commission meeting to make noise 1 to 4 ?
take our pick of building for our alternative to Chancellor meeting (maybe science Library since it is getting shut down) 5 to dawn ?
Please send any links to videos of the events of Thursday night to email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.org. The student assistants are passing along videos we are aware of / finding to the chief and chancellor as per Janet’s comments but we are also willing to pass along any recommended videos.
Also, the Gould Commission for the Future will be meeting between 1 and 4 in the Alumni Center. A group of student representatives will be presenting their response to the commission between 2:45 and 3:10 and there is an open forum between 3:10 and 3:45.

@Ray: We left the building, as far as I know. There were fewer than ten people there and most of us left. I’m not sure about two people because I never saw them leave the building, but it’s probably safe to assume they left through the other side or left later.
Whoops. Somehow, I saw Radio and Jay and thought “Ray.” My comment was in response to Radio Matthew’s comment. No, I didn’t notice the Reply button until just now.
That’s okay. I didn’t notice the reply button until I saw your reply either.
It’s a learning process…we’re all in this together 🙂
Yes, the student assistants to the chancellor have been working to pass along videos from Mrak on Thursday to the Chancellor and the Chief. We have passed along several videos from news stations and agtv but we are looking for any additional videos that students would like us to pass along. You can email links to email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.org.
To clarify – the Gould Commission for the Future will be meeting from 1-4 in the Alumni Center across from Mondavi on Monday. A group of students will be presenting their response to the commission between 2:45 and 3:10 and there is scheduled time for public comment between 3:10 and 3:45.
Any other comments are also welcomed.
